We’re celebrating 13 years of helping kids with cancer!

 We’re in celebration mode! We’ve turned 13 years old, so we’re true teenagers now. Our president, Paco Arango, has a short message about how far we’ve come, and also to thank you all for supporting us over the years so that kids with cancer never lose their smiles. Here’s to many more years together!

 “The most important thing is that we’re with the kids every single day in the hospital, and via our professionals and volunteers, we become part of their families. When things get tough, kids only accept the people they truly know and love,” said Paco.

Over the past 10+ years, we’ve spent time with hundreds of kids and families and expanded our mission. Today, we have five psycho-oncologists, an extensive physical exercise program, wonderful summer camps for 200 kids every year. We also offer scholarships for oncologists, decorate hospitals to cheer up the patients, provide additional assistance to families with special needs, and work on renovation projects, like completely renovating the children’s ICU at the Hospital Niño Jesús (Madrid). And, of course, we’ve got the amazing work of our volunteers and members, two of our strongest pillars.
