This past February, Madrid hosted the 7th Annual Bone and Soft Tissue Tumors Course where international specialists from some of the best hospitals around the world convened to discuss the disease.
Aladina decided to support this important medical conference through eight scholarships for doctors from four of our closest partner hospitals: Hospital Niño Jesús, Hospital Gregorio Marañón, Hospital de Cruces, and Hospital 12 de Octubre.
One of our scholarships went to Max Negri, an Argentine Orthopedic surgeon, who works in the Orthopedic and Traumatology Unit at Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre. Within his first year, Negri found himself specializing in Orthopedic Oncology.
“An excellent course with a strong academic level, which provided us with a multidisciplinary update on the disease, as well as the opportunity to interact with colleagues, great doctors, and professors from all over the world,” Max told us after the course. “This conference is very important for professionals in the field because it allows us to fill in the gaps between our work, current research and the future.”
We’ll leave it there, because we couldn’t have put it better.
Our little ‘aladinos’ need the best people on the job!
