We are delighted to announce that we will be transforming and humanizing the entire pediatric area at Toledo University Hospital (HUTO), a leading medical center in Castilla-La Mancha. This ambitious project, fully funded by us, represents an investment of €600,000.
Our president, Paco Arango, and the Regional Minister of Health, Jesús Fernández Sanz, have signed a collaboration agreement that will positively impact the lives of hundreds of children with cancer in the Toledo region. The event was attended by Sagrario de la Azuela, General Manager of the Toledo University Hospital Complex; Maite Marín, Director General of Humanization and Social Healthcare; our director, Ishtar Espejo; and our ambassadors Eugenia Silva, Tomás Alía, and Álvaro Rico.
This humanization project will include:
Designed by Rai Pinto’s architecture studio, the project draws inspiration from Toledo’s legacy as the “City of Three Cultures,” weaving a narrative that reflects its rich historical past.
Playful soft arches for children to enjoy, along with thoughtful shapes and designs that not only humanize the spaces but also make the stay of our little heroes in Castilla-La Mancha much more pleasant.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has helped bring us closer to transforming the lives of hundreds of children with cancer.
