The players from Atlético de Madrid and Rayo Vallecano soccer teams showed their support for the Fundación Aladina’s latest project, the complete reform of the children’s ICU at the Hospital Niño Jesús.
The players from both teams walked out onto the field with Diego and Álvaro, two of our little warriors aged 5 and 12. They posed for a photo for our campaign “A hug for the children’s ICU at the Niño Jesús.” We’re trying to fill Madrid with hugs over the next few months, and this was a very special one.
It was an exciting afternoon of soccer, especially for our ‘aladinos’ Diego, 5 years old, is in the middle of treatment, and Álvaro, 12 years old and a huge fan of Átletico, recently found out he’d overcome the illness the same day that he turned 12.
We want to send a million thanks to both teams for their support and generosity towards Aladina, especially for our new children’s ICU project.
